IIM Ahmedabad Recruitment for Secondary/ Higher Secondary Teacher (Gujarati Medium) for SMILE Program

The program needs a Secondary/ Higher Secondary Teacher (Gujarati Medium) who can provide academic support to SMILE students. The position is necessarily temporary and contractual for a period of one year.

2.   Candidates should be able to teach in Gujarati.

3.  Candidates should mention their own HSC stream in their applications.

4.   Only relevant specialization will be considered. 

5.  Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and called for written test and interview.

7.  Graduation/ Post-graduation in relevant discipline

8.   Candidates with at least 2 years of teaching experience are likely to be preferred

9.   Subjects to be taught (Gujarat State Board; Gujarati medium) 

10.  Mathematics, Science and English for Class X/ XII 

11.  Statistics, Accounting for Class XII

12. Honorarium: 

13. Consolidated honorarium of Rupees 18,000/- to 22,000/- per month, based on qualification and experience.

14. Job Profile, Timings: 

15.  Roles and responsibilities: teach the subjects, prepare notes and test papers, assess students on weekly basis, give and check homework, undertake exam-oriented preparation, conduct sessions for clearing students’ doubts, mentor the students. 

16.  Timings: 09:30 am to 5:30 pm (Subject to change, if exams are approaching).

17.   Place of work: SMILE Center, Opposite IIM Old Campus, Under Gyanshakti Marg Flyover. Retired teachers who want to volunteer or work part-time may also apply.
